When the Spice Girls first hit he scene back in 97' i was more so in AWE. at that point i took my weekly allowance and BLEW IT on MUSIC. IM SUCH AN AUDIOPHILE! Back in the DAYS IN FYE when single were sold for 99% and CD Singles 1.99. My hot spot was Sam Goody on the TOP FLOOR of Trumbull Mall.... across from RUBY TUESDAYS LMAO. Sam Goody had A DIVERSE amount of pressings and MORE SO WAT GOT ME WAS THE IMPORTED SINGLES SECTION! anyone WILL TELL YOU. TOO THIS DAY I CRAVE ANY KIND OF AUDIO PRESSED IN OTHER COUNTRIES. THE TRACK LISTINGS ARE DIFFERENT AND I LOVE THE ALTERNATE COVERS IN MOST CASES!
But back to what I was saying I LOVED THE SPICE GIRLS back then. Due to their androgynous style of expression. It was FUN music at the time., There was no stigma of gender role selection in music. I get CRITICIZED to this day for my Choice in music. HELL. It DOESN'T FAZE me regardless.. ive always DANCED TO THE SPIN OF MY OWN VINYL. HUMPH!
